Why does the security deposit increase if my cable service has been disconnected three times?
Subscribers that are disconnected for non-payment more than three times pose a higher risk of leaving an unpaid balance on their account if they choose not to renew their service. Currently, the average balance left owing on the account of a disconnected subscriber is over $60, even after the security deposit is applied to their account.
Why am I charged for Pay-Per-View movies?
When you press "select" and "enter" at anytime during a movie on a PPV channel, your bill is automatically charged. You should protect this feature and avoid unwanted purchases by requiring a PPV password to block unauthorised purchases.
I am moving. I need to disconnect my cable service and I am closing my bank account.

What is Pre-Authorised Chequing (PAC)?
Pre-Authorised Chequing (PAC) is a safe and convenient way to pay your Cable Bahamas Limited bill. With a Pre-Authorised Chequing (PAC) payment, you instruct Cable Bahamas Limited to direct your bank to deduct the amount of your cable bill automatically and remit to Cable Bahamas Limited. Should you choose to use this service, you will continue to receive monthly statements with a Pre-Authorized Chequing (PAC) payment message appearing at the bottom of the statement. In addition, an itemised list of automatic payments will appear on your bank statement, which can be used as your proof of payment.
How can you take money out of my account?
With your written authorisation, we set up an automatic payment transfer with your bank. This transfer of funds can only take place with your written authorisation.
Is a Pre-Authorised Chequing (PAC) Payment risky?
A Pre-Authorised Chequing (PAC) Payment may actually be less risky than check payments. Since your payments can't be lost, stolen or destroyed, there is a very high rate of accuracy. In the event that you do suspect a mistake has been made, you may call the Customer Care Department at Cable Bahamas Limited to have it corrected.
Without writing cheques, how will I balance my chequebook when paying my bill by (PAC)?
Your automatic payment is usually made within the first seven (7) business days of each month, so you can deduct it from your bank account record at that time.
How will I know when the payment is being taken out of my account when paying my bill by (PAC)?
Pre-Authorised Cheque payments are sent to the bank by Cable Bahamas Limited, no later than the 2nd working day after the month ends. All payments should be deducted from bank accounts no later than the 8th of each month.
How will I know what my bill is every month if I use Pre-Authorised Chequing (PAC)?
You will continue to receive the same monthly statement as non-PAC payment customers.
