Troy D�Arville, Director

Mr. D’Arville has been President and Chief Executive Officer for Furniture Plus & The Plus Group of Companies in Nassau, Bahamas for over twenty (20) years.  His background and experience includes Retail Furniture, Consumer Credit & Finance, Retail Shopping Centers, Real Estate and Investments. 

Having launched and managed an independent finance company, Mr. D’Arville has created technological & organizational systems and processes that are cutting edge in this industry.  He has a keen sense of technology and its importance in any type of business, as can be seen in the state-of-the art distribution center for the retail arm of the company along with communication and computer systems throughout the other divisions.

Under the leadership of Mr. D’Arville, Furniture Plus won the prestigious Chamber of Commerce, Business of the Year Award in 2009. 

Also, having successfully expanded to a national chain with a store in Grand Bahama, Mr. D’Arville championed the newly opened Abaco location. He is a highly regarded, innovative entrepreneur who sits on the boards of other diversified businesses such as CMA Insurance, Source River Holdings, and previously the YPO Bahamas Chapter.

Mr. D’Arville firmly believes in continuing education both personally and organizationally, having for the last seven years attended the YPO Harvard Business School seminar for executive education as well as internally identifying and supporting employee development.

Mr. D’Arville holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is married with children.
