1. Your Account Number
Please use this when making bill enquiries and payments.
Your account number appears on all pages and also the tear-off portion of your statement.
2. Due Date
Your bill falls due on this date. Outstanding balances at the end of the month are subject to a late fee.
3. Total Due
The total amount due.
4. Billing Address
This is the mailing address associated with your account. Please notify us of any changes to your PO Box or other billing address information.
5. The first page of your statement displays a summary of charges, payments and adjustments along with any outstanding balance from the previous month.
Full details of each section appear on the second and subsequent pages of the statement.
6. This section provides important information to customers regarding our products and services, and special promotions.
If an account is in arrears, the customer may not be eligible for special promotions, and this section will contain a collections notification instead.
7. This tear-off portion contains the necessary information to accompany a payment at one of our offices or other payment centres.
8. Payments received after the last business day of the month will not be reflected on this statement e.g. payments made at payment centres other than the Cable Bahamas offices such as direct payment to a bank, or through online bank payments.
9. If you change your PO Box, check this box and provide details on the reverse side of the tear-off slip.
10. Payments
Detailed listing of all individual payments since last billing period.
11. Partial monthly charges
Contains 2 different types of charges:-
a) one-time installation charges, equipment charges and deposits; and
b) pro-rated charges for services which have been activated during the month. Pro-rated charged are calculated by dividing the monthly charge by the number of days in the month (daily charge) and multiplying by the number of active days of service.
A credit pro-rate indicates a service has been removed, debit pro-rate indicates that the service has been added during the month. Date(s) indicates period of service activation.
12. Service Charges
Itemises the monthly rate of each service subscribed to.
13. Pay-Per-View
Lists the pay-per-view movies and/or events purchased in the previous billing period. Due to limited character space, the full title of the movie/event may not be displayed. Customer Care will be happy to supply the title on request.
14. Adjustments
Displays credit and/or debit adjustments to your account, for example:
a) late fees - applied on outstanding balances at the end of the month;
b) refunds or rebates
c) cheque or PAC rejects
15. Tear off portion
If your customer details have changed, indicate updated information in this section and return with your next payment.
16. Mailing address for customer correspondence including cheque and money order payments, which should be marked: FOR THE ATTENTION OF DATA ENTRY |
