Today, Cable Bahamas Ltd. (CBL) and Systems Resource Group Limited (SRG) announced their agreement to form a merged company to better serve the Bahamian public with fully converged communications services including voice, broadband data and video. This merger will be made possible through the acquisition by CBL of 100% of the shares of SRG; the new company thus becoming a wholly owned Bahamian company.

HBO and Cable Bahamas announced today a three year deal to bring HBO for the Caribbean basin to The Bahamas. The contract brings with it HBO’s highly sought after HBO Video On Demand product for the first time to the market. The service is expected to switch in early October.
