Please be advised that our technical team is aware of the outage in the Prospect Ridge area affecting all REV services. Please bear with us as we work to resolve the issue. We will keep you posted of any updates.

There is a commercial power outage in St. Alban’s Drive that affects REV customers in the area. Please be advised that we have placed our node that services this neighborhood on a generator. BPL has not provided a restoration time, but we will keep you posted of any further updates.

Update as of 3:30 pm: All REV services in Prospect Ridge have been restored.

 

April 7, 2017

Update as of 9:00 am: Our technical team has indicated that fibre in the Love Beach area was damaged yesterday by local crews clearing bushes in the vicinity. Work has continued this morning to restore the damaged fibre.

We also received a report that fibre has been damaged in the Lyford Cay area by crews trimming trees.

Please bear with us as we repair these damaged fibres to restore your REV services. An update will be posted once available.

Update as of 12:15 pm: All REV services in Lyford Cay have been restored. The REV technical team is still working to repair the damaged fibre in Love Beach.

Update as of 2:30 pm: All REV services in Love Beach have been restored.

At 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 21st, Cable Bahamas experienced service issues on its video network. This resulted in multiple channels across New Providence, Abaco, Grand Bahama and Eleuthera experiencing intermittent service outages. Technical teams immediately launched response protocols and began investigations. Multiple vendors were engaged to assist Cable Bahamas' engineers in troubleshooting the issue. Due to the malfunction of a major piece of equipment repairs have taken longer than anticipated.

Please be advised that our technical team has been investigating the REV service outage on the island. Results indicate a damaged fibre. Expected restoration is 6pm today. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore your REV services.

 

April 4, 2017

Please be advised that as a result of a commercial power outage, some REV customers in Cooper’s Town, Sand Banks, Cooper’s Town, Blackwood, Green Turtle Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Fox Town, Cedar Harbour, Wood Cay, Mount Hope, and Treasure Cay may experience disruption to their services. BPL has indicated that power will be restored in 1 hour. We will keep you posted on any new updates.

Update as of 3:40pm: Commercial power has been restored, and so are all REV services.

March 24, 2017 update as of 1:30pm

REV services are now restored in all affected areas of North Abaco.

March 23, 2017

Due to road construction, our technical teams have to relocate fibre strands to prevent any potential damage. Please be advised that REV technical teams will begin a scheduled cutover in North Abaco, which may impact subscribers that live in the areas of Cedar Harbor, Mount Hope, Fox Town and Crown Heaven. Construction is expected to take place during the maintenance window (March 24th, 1am – 6am). During this time, customers will have complete loss of REV services.
