REV warns of false e-mail scam targeting Coralwave customers

REV wishes to inform all of its subscribers that a fraudulent email purported to be from REV is currently in circulation. The email, which speaks to free giveaways upon completion of a survey provides an unauthorized link for and invites customers to complete a survey and provide personal information. This email is not from the company and subscribers are warned that no one should click on the link or follow any instructions contained in the post.

The fake email is designed to lure users into providing personal banking information, giving hackers access to the user’s accounts.

While REV frequently offers surveys and promotional prizes, this email is not from the company. REV advises all users to practice extreme caution when clicking on links of this nature, even when they appear to be from a trusted source.
